Bohohoho

What is up guys!?!?  It's Rachel here!
So how about I never wear sleeves like this! It's a cool thing to be able to try out different things through swapping without having to commit to a purchase. This swishy dress from Jessi made me feel really boho, and the teal made it fun, too!
My southwestern belt is apparently on upside down here, but it's really cute because it's covered in little metal animals. There's a turtle and a snake and a lizard, and a longhorn bull that you can see on the right there!
Check out how Jessi styled it below!

A Quick Favorite

Hello, Dus here of Cuddly Cacti! Erica of Sweets and Hearts was kind enough to offer up for swaps this dress, and as you have surely noticed, it’s quickly become a group favorite (as have many of her items, she has many darling dresses!). You can see her original look in it here and the other gals remixes below.

Outfit details: silk blouse- hand-me-down; belt & shoes-thrifted; tights-Target (crappiest tights ever btw); bracelet- hand beaded in Mexico; dress- borrowed from Erica via Flock Together.

As you can see I went with a bit more of an eccentric look, especially for the office, but to my delight got compliments on it all day. Now that I look back I suppose it’s a bit Ronald McDonald, but luckily it didn't occur to me then and I’m still really loving the red and yellow combos lately, not that you'd know by looking at my recent posts. Do you ever love certain color combos in theory but not when you go to get dressed in the morning? Well now I’ll have to make a mental note of this and hope I’m not the only one! Thanks for stopping by our blog and don’t forget to check out our Facebook and Twitter. And of course I’d love to hear from you on my blog as well : ).

Romping Around

I pretty so much love winter days when the weather is super mild, because all I really want to do after weeks of being cooped up in the house with tons of blankets and tea and snow on the ground is romp around outside in the nice, sunshiny weather.  Where I live, (which is in the mountains of PA) days like these this time of year are very few and far between.  Of course, what better way to romp than in a romper, right?  And who says rompers are only for the summer?  Certainly not me.  So lucky duck me, Erica sent her cute little romper over my way and how sweetly it paired up with Katie's beauty of a bird cardi.  It's like a match made in heaven, and also a combination that lent itself quite well to me pretending I was some kind of Dr. Seuss character (could be the red, white, & blue having me feel like Thing 1 and Thing 2)...and if you know me, that is a very good thing :-)

So off for a romp and stroll I went...
“Today was good. Today was fun. Tomorrow is another one.”  - Dr. Seuss

Check out how loverly both Katie and Erica donned their pieces:

I adore her classy vintage way of styling this bird-tastic piece as well as how perfectly pretty & feminine she made the romper look with that little scalloped jacket.

Erica's style is always so fresh and feminine and completely right on.  Aren't those shoes killer?

Have a splendiferous sort of day darlings!

Remix :: Sparkle Skirt

Years ago I stumbled across this sequin skirt in a Gap in Cleveland, one left, and technically a size too small. Well, I guess I lucked into this skirt running a bit large and a size 2 fitting perfectly. Since then, I've worn it to parties, work, and now have lent it out to Jessica and Ashley, both who look stunning in it. Click the images to see more of each outfit!

Primary

Why, hello there! Yes, it's Elana from Room 334 here again, showing you yet another adorable item of Jessica's. I've probably borrowed more from her than anyone else in the group without realizing it, everything she owns is just so darn cute. Today, I'm wearing her ever so lovely red collared dress as a top. I love the vibrant color and absolutely perfect collar so I just decided to go for it and pair it with an equally bright yellow skirt. I can't seem to get enough of wearing dresses as tops, they're just so versatile.

I usually lean more towards neutrals, so I had so much fun wearing this brightly colored ensemble.

How great does Jessica look in her dress? The gray cardigan makes it look so effortless. See her full post here.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Make sure to stop by my blog for outfit details.

Boho Chic

Hello there!  It's Ashley from Southern (California) Belle bringing you my take on a dress from Jessi of Haircut & General Attitude.  This dress looks nothing less than perfect on her and I wanted to try to style something out of my comfort zone.  I love boho chic styles and that's the look I was going for.

Floral crown- Positivum USA (won in giveaway)
Shoes- Steve Madden

While I stayed true to my roots by adding sparkle with a gold heel, I tried something different by wearing a floral crown.  Here is how Jessi styled the same dress.  How cute is she with her hubby?

Blue and White

Hello out there! It's Katie from Butterfly Loves Snapdragons to hopefully brighten your day :) I know this romper of Erica's (Sweets and Hearts) certainly brightened my day when I received it in the mail. I love any blue and white pattern, especially one as fun as this. Coupled with the sweet bow in the middle? I couldn't resist! It was late fall when I wore this, so I layered it up with some of my very favorite pieces. I'm convinced that this scalloped blazer can do no wrong. I wear it over anything and everything from jeans to dresses-and now rompers! Paired with my white and navy vintage shoes I felt just exactly like me in this ensemble. Now isn't that a nice feeling? :)

It's safe to say that this romper was definitely a little risque for me..quite short and low cut on my body compared with Erica's! That is why I am quite the fan of fall and winter when I can wear multiple layers to cover up and not have to show much skin.

Here's how the ever-fabulous Erica wore her romper! Simple with nude wedges and a darling updo. Summer perfection!

Thanks for reading friends! I hope your day is a happy one :)
God Bless,
KJA

Cat Calling

Erica of Sweets and Hearts

Hey everyone! Hope you've had a great week. For this post, I got to style a quirky-cute cat print blouse from Marisa (if you look closely, you'll see cats having a fancy dinner of sorts). I envy her color coordinating and print-matching skills (as well as her ModCloth worthy closet). This blouse deserves an outfit as colorful and un-boring as possible, so I decided to pair it with a couple of other deep shades-- navy and red.
Outfit Details:
Tan and green "Cat Your Service" blouse with green pussy bow - from ModCloth; swap from
Marisa
Navy striped nautical mini-skirt - Gilly Hicks
Red wool single-breasted coat - Tulle
Black tights - Forever 21

Red leather rhinestone bunny flats - Le Bunny Bleu

Here's a peek at how Marisa styled it:
