Tick Tock Teal

Hello darlings, 

It's Marisa, here on this icy & frigid January morning.  Are you all keeping cozy and warm?  I sure am trying to!  Today I'm wearing this dainty and romantic little slip dress from Elana and how ladylike and charming did it ever make me feel.  Do I hear the chorus of "I Feel Pretty" coming on?  Anyhow, the weather was dancing somewhere in the 20s this day, so layering this little number up was the only route to go.  Luckily I recently found this velvet blazer and little lacy peter pan sweater at the thrift store, so they were my trusty friends in making this darling little dress work in the winter weather.  Later this day (that being the day these photos were taken), I headed off into the setting sun to my hometown to celebrate my birthday with family at one of my favorite Italian restaurants.  Yum!  Gotta love delicious endings.  

Elana wore it cute and "casualed" down two different ways for two different seasons - I just love when dresses can take you from summer to winter.
