You're Making me Blush

Hello there. My name is Katie and I am addicted to....this skirt... Oh wait, we weren't confessing our addictions? ...oops! Kidding aside, I really did fall in love with this skirt I borrowed from Kristian. It is made of the softest material imaginable and I just adore the color. I think this blush pink color goes with anything and everything. It is such a soft and romantic shade! I decided to pair some rusty/burgundy colors with it to play off of the dark sky we were having that day. I guess I like to match my surroundings :)

Did you all have a lovely April? It's difficult to believe the month is almost over and we'll be on to May in no time! School is finishing up, which is always a wonderful, blissful feeling. I like working in education because then I can still look forward to having some time off in the summer. How about you, any summer plans yet?

I'm so keen on how Kristian wore her skirt both times. Her classic style is so fresh and inspiring!

God Bless!

  3. Aw, Katie! This skirt is so so pretty. It's definitely a true blush-pink color. And man, I just love it with the orange and that awesome patterned jacket. You look stunning!

I'm looking forward to being an art teacher for that same reason--time off, and just being able to be encompassed by that school vibe in general. :) I'm glad that you enjoy it so very much!

  7. Oh my goodness, Katie, YOUR HAIR!! It's gorgeous!! How did you manage to do this amazing vintage updo? LOVE. This skirt sure is pretty, I love that you combined it with rust, and I really like your blazer. Being a teacher must be SO nice for that reason! I'd love to have the entire summer off :)But hey, I can't complain, I work banker's hours and get all the Holiday's off.
