Hello Lovelies! Katie here from Butterfly Loves Snapdragons. I got this stunning dress from Kristian as our very first surprise swap a while ago and I just had so many ideas as to what I could do with it! It is a lovely, soft, flowy fabric that is just asking to be layered and remixed again and again. I adored the rich plum color that would go with anything perfectly and the flutter sleeves added such a special touch! I had some apprehensions as the dress was a bit tiny on me, but all it took was a little skillful layering and I ended up styling it in two different ways.

I hope you're enjoying the weeks leading up to the holidays! Thanksgiving is always one of my favorite times with family. We usually play scrabble until our brains hurt and just hang out with the smell of pumpkin pie in the air. Lovely!
God Bless all! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving week. :)

holy hell, this was one brilliant post! i LOVE the way you styled it in the first set- adding that billowy blouse to it was a stroke of genius. it looks like it came that way. and i LOVE the flower crown added to it- it really tied it together.
ReplyDeleteand that's such a neat idea to layer a longer dress over it- i've never ever thought of that. that was so clever, i'll definitely be stealing that move ;)
and a happy Thanksgiving to you too! :)
