Good Morning
Darlings! Katie here from Butterfly Loves
Snapdragons. I am remixing an item from the ever lovely Marisa of The Shades of Monet Chronicles.
She has the most darling pieces to swap and I was smitten with this floral
blazer as soon as I saw it. She styled it very sweetly with a printed dress and
some of the cutest shoes and tights.
I, on the other hand,
decided to throw as many prints together as I could for a fun eclectic outfit
that I couldn't help smiling in. I found this hat at a vintage store just a
couple of weeks ago and to my delight it matched this floral blazer quite well!
I know I will be remixing the socks out of it come spring time. Sometimes
fashion is just about putting on what makes you smile, something to bring out
your uniqeness and personality. I don't ever want my style to be put in a box,
so once in a while I have to bring out the crazy ;)
I may never
have put together an outfit such as this if it weren't for the
inspiration I receive on a daily basis from each of the wonderful blogs I read,
like Marisa's! How fun
to take a bit of inspiration and turn it into something you enjoy :)
Happy Monday you
lovely things! December is upon us and I'm so excited about listening to
Christmas music and especially all the cute Christmas programs at church-little
kids in shepherd's costumes are the best :D
God Bless,
KJA
Luke 2:8-12
That night
there were shepherds staying in the fields nearby, guarding their flocks of
sheep. Suddenly, an angel of the Lord appeared among them, and
the radiance of the Lord’s glory surrounded them. They were terrified,
but the angel reassured them. “Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I bring you
good news that will bring great joy to all people. The
Savior—yes, the Messiah, the Lord—has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of
David! And you will recognize him by this sign: You will find a baby wrapped
snugly in strips of cloth, lying in a manger.

Haha if this is bringing out the crazy then I absolutely love it! The both of you did such an amazing job mixing that blazer with patterns, both of them are such fun looks! I love how the floral looks with the polka dots and stripes, and even though it's super busy, it works so perfectly. And that vintage hat was the perfect quirky touch! I have the blazer now and it seems like I really need to step it up a notch to be in the ranks with you two ;)

First of all, the hat is an amazing find I love it! I think all of these print work well together because they're still in the same blue color family. So fun, I really like both of your spins on it!

Print mixing is sooo much fun! I like trying two random things together thinking they would never work, but when they do it's like the best feeling. Your print mixing totally worked! It's really a great look!

Ok I seriously love how you mixed all these patterns together! They look perfect together! And I love that you left the pop of color to the pretty blazer. This blazer is seriously gorgeous.
