Black, White, and Red All Over

Hey there! Happy Monday morning to you. It's Katie from Butterfly Loves Snapdragons.  Today is actually an important day for me because it is the first day of school where I live! For those who don't know, I'm an after school program coordinator, so it will be my first day with the students for the year. Last year I had 14 and this year it jumped to 26, so I am a bit nervous. However, all my nerves can be easily alleviated with lots of packages in the mail containing pretty dresses and things! Like this pretty gingham dress from the ever inspiring Marisa. I always admire her vintage dresses, and this one was no exception. I love button down dresses because they are so versatile. Since this particular dress didn't look great on me buttoned up, I decided to wear it open over my favorite polka dot romper! I really enjoyed mixing the patterns together and it was such a fun and breezy way to wear the dress.

Marisa always has the sweetest pastel color pairings. I am so smitten with the mint heels and strawberry cardigan she paired with this dress! You can see her full post here :)

Have a great Monday everyone! I hope you're truly enjoying the last days of summer :)
God Bless,
KJA

  5. I used to have a red and white polka dotted button down dress that I liked to wear open over other dresses. Now I'm wishing I hadn't gotten rid of it!
