Alright, so I didn't actually go to the ballet. Actually, it is quite hard to go to the ballet in this little western town, unless it is Christmas and the local dance school puts on the Nutcracker. I've always loved the Nutcracker with its turns of whimsy,  and story of love and transformation. As a wee little one I even had a chance to play a rat in the Rat King's army, but at that point was too shy to even begin to think of stepping out on stage. However, this dress reminded of an entirely different ballet.

It is Swan Lake in dress form, am I right? You see it now too. And hey, even if you haven't seen the ballet, what child of the nineties could forget the animated film based on the same story? C'mon, it was like Disney, only their songs included peasants hoping for lower taxes? That is what this dress embodies, right: Lower tax-wait. I mean, swans.

And who doesn't love a swan? No one. That's who. To prove it, here are some other lovely ladies and their styling of Jenna's lovely swan dress.

  1. Cute dress - It looks really nice with the black leggings.

I don't remember the song about taxes, but I remember liking the movie and the opening song with the bickering children - if we're talking about the movie starring Jodi Beson?

    1. Yes- the bickering children song has a bridge where the townspeople hope their marriage will result in lower taxes (um, recently being sick, I rewatched a lot of childhood favorites so...lol)
