Fox in Socks

Hello, hello,

Marisa here today bringing you another critter-laden article of clothing and Jessica's etherial vintage skirt.  Lately I've really enjoyed the ease of wearing pull-on maxi's like this though I am quite the shrimp myself and in fashion rules this is probably a big no-no.  Oh well, I was never really the one for following these kinds of rules anyways, so I gobbled up the comfort and perfect flowiness of this particular piece.  Kind of made me want to twirl in circles - however my common sense kicked in as I am 100% prone to tripping over my feet - clown style that is.  As for the Rosie the Riveter style head  scarf wearing habit - um well, being that I have a 3 month old and a 3 year old in my home this is kind of my current thang. (Did I really just type that?).  Getting ready time is quite sparse practically non-existent at the moment, so this is my answer to that.  Hey, ya gotta do, what ya gotta do, right?

The Deets:
Sweater: Old Navy
Scarf: Vintage/Thrifted
Skirt: swap via Jessica
Socks: Miss Selfridge
Shoes: Jeffrey Campbell

There are foxes, deer, chipmunks, bears, you name it everywhere this time of year in my little mountainside neighborhood.  This sweet fella was about 10 feet away in my front yard as the Mr. snapped photos of me.  Told you I'm a sucker for critters of all kinds.

And for some additional remixing, check out how Jessica styled this piece so easy breezy, pretty, and fancy free.

That's all for now darling dears.  Hope your Autumn is getting off to a beautiful start!
Love bunches,

  7. Oh, my! I'd so love to live in a place where you can see so many awesome furry creatures! I'm a city girl, so when I first came to California and saw a squirrel, I almost died with joy, haha! I started jumping and laughing because I couldn't believe how cute the little critter was :p.

Also, love how Marisa has paired the skirt! ;)
