The Happiest of Halloweens

Happy Halloween from the Flock Together girls and me, Ashley of Southern (California) Belle!  I must admit, I'm not the biggest fan of this "holiday" but sometimes you find inspiration to dress up in the least expected places.  I was eagerly awaiting the arrival of Marisa's gorgeous Wizard of Oz dress but I had no intention of dressing it up as a costume.  A few days ago I was organizing my closet and I found my wedding petticoat.  While this dress is perfect on its own, the addition of the petticoat made me feel like a modern day princess.  It was meant to be!

This is probably my favorite picture of Marisa ever.  She looks so perfect and you can see what a wonderful mother she is!  I definitely look up to women like her, and it doesn't hurt that I get to play in her closet too :).  If you want to see the details on her outfit, click on the picture above.
 

What are your plans for the day?  I have to work, go to a prenatal appointment, and then I'll be passing out candy to the neighbors with my dogs.  I truly can't wait until next Halloween.  This year I'm seven and a half months pregnant, next year I'll have a little girl to dress up to take to the pumpkin patch.  I can't wait to be a mom!
