Mother Flockers

Hello! Hannah from The Braided Bandit here stopping by to show you how I remixed Sammi (of The Soubrette Brunette)'s lovely skirt! First of all can I just say that whenever I sign in to write a post on here, I always want to greet everyone as "Flockers" (or mother-flockers if you get my drift).  Just had to finally get that out of the way!  Now onto my most ladylike outfit ;)

I don't usually gravitate towards pink, but this slightly shimmery baby pink skirt sure was calling my name for the holiday season!  Sammi kindly let me borrow it, and I loved it so much I decided to style it two different ways!  The first time I styled it, I decided to go a bit matchy-matchy and paired it with a grey and pink sequin sweater layered over a minty blouse.
The second time I styled it on my on blog here with some black and white parisian stripes and my favorite floral tapestry booties.  And as you can see, in both outfits I couldn't resist a bit of a ballerina twirl!
Outfit 1 Details: Skirt- borrowed from Sammi // Sweater - Forever 21 (old) // Blouse - c/o Oasap // Tights- Target // Loafers - thrifted
Outfit 2 Details: Sweater - thrifted // Boots - DSW // Necklace - Forever 21

Sammi paired her skirt with an adorable tea cup top in an outfit fit for a fairy tea party.  Sammi always has the cutest little themes to her outfit and lets just say I'm more than a little envious of those sparkly jelly flats!  Anyway, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas holiday if you celebrate, and make sure to check back for a fun Secret Santa swap post the Flock Together gals did a little later this week!

  4. Mother Flockers - I LOVE it! hahaha.
It's totally a necessity to twirl like a ballerina in that pretty skirt! ;) It reminds me of the sugar plum fairies in the Nutcracker or something! Love both ways you styled it.
