Hello There, it's Jenna blogging here from Smitten today!! I am so excited to be able to finally get to style something from Sammi, that girl has an amazing selection of dresses with the most amazing prints. I actually saw this dress in person at a shop and knew I had to go home immediately and request it.
I love a good novel print and this one was just too hard to pass up!
Even though it has an amazing open back, I decided to pop my cropped sweater over top to style it as a skirt. Dresses as skirts is always a favourite in my book, such a great way to change the way a piece looks and get more wear out of something.
Also awkward moment of the day: the city was clearing the snow off the sidewalks while I was taking these and he stopped across the street from me and watched me take pictures. MOVE IT ALONG FELLA, NOTHING TO SEE HERE.

I like how the necklace pairs with this too.
ReplyDeletePS I think Katie also styled this with a eye catching hat...
I love how you managed to style it for the winter - it looks great with all the black!

That light comic-print Sammi dress looks fabulous styled with your black tights and American Apparel crop sweater. Your Jerew necklace is a nice touch. I love the red highlights in your hair too.

Cute! I think I actually like the dress styled as a skirt better than as a dress! The black top and tights really make the print pop and look incredibly vibrant! Adorable! :D

LOVE it with the cropped sweater! But HATE when people stop to stare when I am taking pictures - I already feel awkward enough doing it along without the audience!
ReplyDeleteAh Jenna I love this SO much. It looks fabulous as a skirt, and it looks great with all the black and the pop of red from your bag (and your amazing hair)!! <333
