Infinitely Remixable

Hey there! It's Dus from Cuddly Cacti here with you again. Today I'm sharing some of my favorite remixes I've done in the past few years with one of my favorite embroidered tops I purchased way back when I lived in Mexico between 2010 and 2011. The words "infinitely remixable" don't exactly come to mind when I think of a shirt with bright pink embroidery on not just the top but the back, but I think it goes to show that when you really love an item in your closet, you'll find tons of ways to style said item.

The last time I wore this embroidered top was in Mexico a few months ago for my shop, Mitla Moda, and so I styled it simply with jeans. My "go-to" style for this top is probably shorts and sandals, since more often than not it was hot in Phoenix, and Austin, our new home, seems to be following the same pattern. But, I think the corduroy jumper tops my list of favorite looks, and I do hope it made the move over to Texas since it's currently hiding somewhere.

Outfit Details:
Embroidered Blouse: Similar here
Jeans + Sandals: Secondhand
Watch: Sprout Watches

What have been some of your favorite unexpected items to remix over the years? Hope ya'll are having the most loveliest of summers!

thx

  3. Such cool photos! I love how remixable this is- I need to play around with my Mitla Moda top some more because I always end up pairing it with leggings or skinny jeans. You've inspired me :)

  4. Wow, there are some great remixes going on here. The jumper looks great, and so do all of the high waist skirts! And I'm sure the shirt has some memories of your time in Mexico. :)

PS That tree in the first photo is awesome.
