Polka, polka

Hello, Jessica from Midwest Muse here. Today, I'm mixing up Ashely of Southern {California} Belle's beautiful polka dot skirt. I love how she made it fancy and summery while I took a more casual and non-traditional route. This worked so well as a dress that I almost wished it was a dress. I didn't realize until I took another look at Ashley's photos that we both paired it with red. This beige demands red accents.

Don't worry, you'll see this skirt several more times as I think it's one of the pieces everyone in the group wants.

  4. So cute as a dress! It really does look terrific with red, I'll bet it would look good styled with another bold color too in the future! The oversized dots are adorable!

  8. Hehe! I think the reason you both paired it with those accents is because you both wanted to look fabulous! That combination is just phenomenal!

  15. I love how you made this a dress! It really is such an adorable piece, I want to put myself on the list for it too - but I felt bad it would be away from Ashley for so long :). Both you ladies nailed it with the little pop of red - <3!!
