Hello there darlings,
Marisa here today. If there's one thing I'm always saying about us fellow bloggers, it's that we do just adore our animal smothered prints, now don't we? I know for one that I'm the biggest sucker for anything with a bird, fox, cat, or horse on it...heck, I'd even wear an antelope if I could! Of course, Rachel's (like totally awesome-bossum) rooster printed blouse was no exception. This quite perfect little vintage find of hers had me cockadoodledoo-ing as soon as I set eyes on it. It also had me keeping my fingers crossed that I could come across a blouse as perfectly quirky as this on my next thrifting spree.
Outfit Details: Blouse: Rachel's // Dress: Vintage, for sale in my shop here // Floral Crown: DIY// Collar: Vintage // Tights: Target // Shoes: Jeffrey Campbell
I took all my cues from Rachel when it came to styling it up. Jumper style dress, check. Double collar check. I guess you could say my take on it is the wintery version of hers. If it did happen to be all summer and sunshine outside, I'm pretty certain I would wear this blouse the exact same way that she did. Aren't her knee highs adorable?
That's about all for now. It's actually sunny outside today, so time for this gal to catch some fresh air. Cheers to a lovely weekend ahead!

ReplyDeleteThe detail and colours of your floral crown and rooster print dress are fabulous! Your DIY floral crown and necklace are beautiful. The colours coordinate beautifully with that red dress. Rachel's outfit is lovely too. I love her hair, the colour of her dress and the contrasting white collar.
