Hello from the land of bare legs and no jackets! Elana from Room 334 here, showing you how I styled Amy's seriously adorable polka dot skirt. Never one to shy away from a good polka dot (obsess over it is more like it), I could hardly contain my excitement when this skirt arrived in the mail. In fact, I'm fairly certain that my eyes turned into cartoon hearts and bugged out of my face. These things happen.

With its A-line silhouette and perfect fit, it won't come as a surprise that I wore this beauty more than once while it was in my possession. I actually wore it on Christmas a different way, and it turned out to be an especially versatile piece. Like usual, I kept things fairly simple for this look. I'll admit that my love for simplicity sometimes makes me think that I shouldn't have a style blog, but I'm starting to realize that that's just my "thing." For a college student with nowhere special to go, just throwing on a few easy pieces without resorting to sweats  is good enough for me. I'm a creature of habit, so I couldn't resist pairing the skirt with a fun collar and some oxfords.

I seriously could live in this skirt, which I might have done if Amy wasn't so sweet. It makes it difficult to steal things from someone that nice, doesn't it? Something about a conscious or something. It really gets in the way of things sometimes.

Amy // Jessi

I don't think it's possible for Amy or Jessi to look bad in anything, so they obviously both look fantastic in this skirt. Amy's red and Jessi's gold are perfect complements to this skirt.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Don't forget to head over to my blog and say hello there as well!

  1. A simple style can be great for a blog, methinks!

  2. Love the way you styled this piece!! The blue and pink are so perfect together. I'm a creature of habit too, when I find a combination that works I stick with it :)

  3. I love it! The polka dots and collar are so fun and I can see why you wanted to live in this skirt! Maybe it feels simple because you've found your groove but you always look super stylish!

  4. Great blog and cute style [:
Would you like to follow each other? Do let me know!!

  5. I'm loving the way you styled this, Elana! And YOU are sweet, my dear. Don't feel bad; I've wanted to steal clothes that I've swapped, too. :-O Haha! Great job!

    Love, Amy

  6. That skirt is just so adorable! You did such a good job styling it Elanna!

  7. The skirt is so pretty! I love it with the dusty pink top, so gorgeous :)

  8. I admire simplicity from fashion bloggers because sometimes I feel like I have too much going on and need a lesson on basics haha. Anyway, this is darling! A collar and polka dots, what could go wrong?
