What I Wore: Shirt (H&M via Ashley), Tank Top (Forever Twenty-One), Jeans (Wet Seal), Boots (Gift), Scarf (Gift), Bracelet (Popbasic)

Hello all. Kristian of Never Fully Dressed (Without a Style) here.

Sometimes life gets a little dreary long about October. Oh, I know, every other blog was proclaiming it to be The Best Month Ever. But we'd been snowed on three times and in November the snow let up, but the gray skies stayed. That is why I was so excited to try this sequin shirt from Ashely of Southern California Belle. I'd never really worn sequins after I out grew our dress up box, but I'm changing my tune now!

I styled this in a very casual way (casual meets fancy in a much more literal way), and we took to the roads for a moody drive through the mountains. Blogging has definitely encouraged me to get out and into nature more (if just to shoot photos), even on days you would perfectly justified if you chose to curl up with a book and mug of tea and not stir past your own door step. But hey- the wild beauty of the outdoors and a shirt that brings some spark to gray days. How could you go wrong with that either?

And don't forget to see how Ashley styled this for a night out!

  3. Personally I think those colourful jeans are the winner in this shot. I really want to get a pair of bright jeans. I currently only own one pair of trousers at all! I really love making obviously-smart clothes work for a completely different setting.

  4. I have never met a woman that wasn't crazy about sequins.

Once again I like the colour choices. You'd make a great painting.

  5. I love how you gave it a more casual spin and it pairs perfectly with the colored denim. Those boots are pretty amazing too. What interesting scenery you have!
