Not Again

Hello! As you might have guessed, it's Elana from Room 334 here to show you how I wore Taylor's polka dot dress a little while ago. And okay, yes, I do understand that I did not need to try another polka dot dress. It's not like there's any shortage of them in my closet or like I haven't already borrowed multiple polka dot pieces from other Flock Together girls, but can you blame me? I tried to refrain, I really did. But the moment I saw Taylor put up this dress and realized that not only was it adorable, but it was an Anthro piece, I couldn't help myself. Before I knew what I was doing, my fingers were glued to my keyboard, my mind was in some sort of polka dot induced haze, and I was asking Taylor if I could borrow it. Not my fault.

The dress is even more gorgeous in person, and I can't get enough of the tiny polka dots on top paired with the larger ones on the skirt. I knew immediately that I had to pair it with this red statement necklace, but it took me multiple tries to get everything else just right. I tried on pretty much every cardigan I had with it until I remembered this extra long lace one. I wore this probably only a little over a month ago while I was still living in Illinois, but it seems forever ago now. I don't really remember what I did that day, but I do remember that wearing this dress made me feel extra classy on a pretty uneventful day. Polka dots and pleats can do that to you.

I am absolutely in love with how Taylor styled this here. The red cardigan and the head wrap just work flawlessly with this dress, and doesn't she just look darling in that field of flowers? I'm so excited to have Taylor as a Flock Together member now because I feel like we have pretty similar styles, and I obviously want to borrow all of her dresses. I'm pretty positive this is the first of many things I'll steal  borrow from her.

Well, that's it for me today. Thanks so much for reading, and don't forget to stop by my blog for the outfit details and for posts dripped with sarcasm and bad jokes. It's my specialty.

  1. Yup- I'm the same way with the polka dots, but really- who can resist? Anthro clothes have a magical way of making you feel so put together, don't they? Love this look!
