Polka + Hearts

Well, hello! Jessi here. Seems like it's been some time since I've posted over here! I'm super happy to be sharing this fun heart print sweater dress with you just in time for Valentine's day :) Something about this outfit just made me so cheery! Maybe it was the darling heart print on Sammi's dress or the over sized polka dots on my scarf, or the contrast of my bright chartreuse leggings against an otherwise neutral look. I had fun playing with black and white here and the opposite patterns were a plus. I think the pop of color in the leggings and lips is what really made it. Do you know what you're wearing for Valentine's day yet? Pink and red? Or something more subtle, but still bold and fun like this? Or maybe you're just staying home in your jammies, which is totally acceptable too ;)

Seeing Spots

Hey there!! I'm Jenna from Smitten posting here at flock together today! Being part of this group is awesome, I love getting packages in the mail and it helps curb my longing to shop if I'm always getting to borrow gorgeous pieces from some fabulous bloggers. Like this dress from Ashley of Sourthern California Belle. I have been eyeing her wardrobe since I started following her and to now have the chance to borrow from it is pretty exciting!

When I spotted this dress I knew I wanted to try it out, it's different from anything else I own, and the purple polka dots are so fantastic! Since the other gals had already paired it with a leather jacket I decided to try to style it for a more casual look. It is a perfect going out and date type dress but I really liked it for a casual day. I paired it with my denim jacket, and bright yellow purse to contrast with the pink/purple polka dots. And of course I added a studded belt/flats and a skull ring to toughen the whole look up a bit ;) My philophy is everything is better with studs!

A Summer Dress for Winter

Hey there!! I am so excited to be doing my first swap post here at Flock Together. So far my swapping experiences have been so wonderful. Everything I'm getting I'm loving styling and trying it out a few different ways. When I saw this dress of Ericka's I knew I wanted to try it  because A) It has a cut out in the back B) It has pockets. If a dress has both those things I'm definitely smitten.

I don't usually wear pink or peaches but I have to say I really love this colour, it's unusual but so pretty. Since we got another cold front and tons of snow I decided to pair it with my blazer, cozy fur stole, knee high boots and some printed tights! I actually wore it when I went to Vancouver to see my brother too, you can see how I styled it that time here. This dress is a really great piece for remixing I found, and I am sad to see it go!

Lucky One

Hi loves, it's Jessi today sharing Elana's lovely vintage dress again!

I feel so lucky to be in this group, especially when there's a beauty like this up for swapping! I figured with yesterday being St. Patrick's Day and all it was only appropriate to share something green! What more could a girl ask for than a vintage dress in the most lovely shade of teal adorned with lace? This dress made me feel so pretty, it was hard to give back!

These photos were taken a couple months back so don't mind all the snow in the yard! It's not quite that cold anymore. In fact it got up into the 60's here just this past week making this girl very happy! I'll fully admit I have a bad case of Spring Fever!

The best thing about Elana's pretty frock is that it looks stunning on everyone! Check out how Ashley, Marisa and Elana herself styled it up!
